The Fidelis Partnership appoints Conor O’Riordan as Group CFO

HAMILTON, Bermuda, 11 August 2025 – The Fidelis Partnership (“TFP”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Conor O’Riordan as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Conor has been with the business since 2021, most recently serving both as Chief Capacity Officer and as Group Head of Corporate Finance. In these roles, he has played a central role in a number of TFP’s major corporate projects and transactions including TFP’s groundbreaking bifurcation from Fidelis Insurance Group in 2023, multiple capital raises, the establishment of Fidelis Syndicate 3123 and the landmark $2billion refinancing transaction in 2024.

Having joined TFP from an investment banking background, Conor is based in London and continues to serve on the firm’s Executive Committee.

As CFO, he succeeds Hinal Patel, who is leaving the business for health reasons and to enable him to focus on his recovery and wellbeing.

Conor will oversee the financial reporting, planning, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations functions, continuing to work closely with Grahame Dawe (UK CFO & Group Controller), Rob Kelly (Ireland CEO & CFO), Gareth Walters (Bermuda CFO) and Catherine Scullion (Syndicate 3123 CFO).

Richard Brindle, Chairman and Group CEO at The Fidelis Partnership, commented: “We’re pleased to be appointing Conor to the CFO position after four successful years with TFP, during which he has demonstrated a deep and instinctive understanding of the firm’s strategic and financial objectives. Having played an important role in supporting the business through some of its most significant and innovative transactions to date, Conor is perfectly positioned to be entering this new role at an exciting time of growth for TFP.

“On behalf of the entire team, I would also like to extend our appreciation to Hinal for his invaluable contribution to TFP’s growth and success over the past decade. He leaves with our very best wishes.”

Conor O’Riordan added: “Having had the privilege of contributing to a number of TFP’s most important strategic milestones over the past four years, I’m delighted to take on the role of CFO and to continue working closely with Richard and the wider Executive Committee to help drive the firm’s next chapter of growth, outperformance and future strategic transactions.”
