The Fidelis Partnership makes senior appointments
Suzanne Wells to join as Group COO and Erik Manning as Head of Ceded Reinsurance
10 April 2025 - The Fidelis Partnership (“TFP”) is pleased to announce the appointments of Suzanne Wells as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Erik Manning as Head of Ceded Reinsurance. Erik starts his role in April, while Suzanne will join in July.
Suzanne, who will be based in London, will join from Arch Insurance International where she is Deputy COO and responsible for overseeing key UK functions including operational excellence, underwriting operations and strategic portfolio management. Prior to Arch, Suzanne spent nearly 10 years with Aviva. She is a chartered accountant.
TFP’s specialist MGA platform, Pine Walk, has grown rapidly, expanding to nearly $1bn GWP and has ambitious plans for 2025 including the launch of Sevanta and an A&H cell. Given its strong growth and strategic importance to TFP, Rinku Patel will now focus solely on his role as Pine Walk CEO.
Erik will be based in Bermuda and was most recently at BMS, prior to which he was Head of ILS for Miller. He brings 30 years of experience in the reinsurance market, having also held senior roles at Aon and Guy Carpenter. He will work closely with Doug Somerville, Head of Capacity and Ceded Reinsurance Placement, and have a particular focus on maintaining strategic relationships, capital markets, retro and index products.
