The Fidelis Partnership strengthens Bermuda presence with senior promotions

HAMILTON, Bermuda, 15 September 2025 – The Fidelis Partnership (“TFP”) is pleased to announce a number of senior promotions to support the continued growth and success of its Bermuda Treaty team.

These promotions will see:

  • Paget Hengesbaugh become Head of International Treaty. Paget has been with TFP for five years, having joined from Renaissance Re.
  • Drew Tomlinson become Head of US Treaty. Drew has been with TFP since 2023 and has had prior roles at OdysseyRe and Penn National Insurance.
  • Will Abbott become Head of Complex Risks and Specialty Treaty. Will has previously had roles at Howden Re, Guy Carpenter and Willis Re.
  • Jack Jarvis become Head of Global Clients. Jack joined TFP in 2024 from Canopius. 

Paget, Drew, Will and Jack will report to Richard Coulson, Deputy Group CUO, while also working closely with Group CEO and Chairman, Richard Brindle, benefiting from his unrivalled track record, experience and global relationships.

Alongside this, TFP will also make the following promotions and appointments, reflecting the strength and expertise of its underwriting management team in Bermuda:

  • Mark Herget who has been with the business for over 6 years will be promoted to Deputy Group Head of Property, Energy and Construction and join TFP’s Group Executive Committee, taking on a more senior role in the group’s management.
  • Danny Mereu will join the Bermuda office on 1 January 2026, transferring from London to take on a new role as Group Head of Property Underwriting Analytics and Pricing.
  • Dennis Brauchle recently joined TFP as Head of Property Treaty & Portfolio Analytics having previously been Deputy CRO & Head of P&C Actuarial at Hannover Re Bermuda.
