The Fidelis Partnership strengthens underwriting leadership with senior promotions

The Fidelis Partnership (“TFP”) is today pleased to announce a number of senior promotions, including four new heads of business across specialty lines. The promotions further strengthen TFP’s senior team and underline the unrivalled underwriting talent at the core of its risk allocator model.  

The four new heads of business include:

  • Grahame Dawson, who becomes Head of D&F – London. Grahame has been with TFP since 2022 and previously served at WTW for more than a decade.
  • Mel Puskar is promoted to Group Head of Credit. Mel has been with TFP for seven years and has had prior roles at Genworth Financial and HSBC.  
  • Oliver Searles takes on the role of Head of Energy. Oliver joined TFP from Marsh in 2024.
  • Jamie Graham becomes Head of Cargo. Jamie joined TFP in 2024 from Amwins.

Grahame, Mel, Oliver and Jamie will lead their respective classes of business, reflecting the depth of underwriting talent across TFP’s underwriting platform.

In addition, TFP will also make the following promotions, reflecting the continued growth of its underwriting operations and the depth of specialty talent within the business:

  • Alex Burness is promoted to Senior Underwriter in the Property D&F team.
  • Alex Weiss Bueno becomes Deputy Head of Asset Backed Finance & Portfolio Credit.
  • Bernard Straeter, Senior Credit Portfolio Underwriter at TFP, takes on the additional role of Deputy Active Underwriter for Syndicate 2126.
  • Daniel Turner has the new role of Senior Underwriter in the Construction & Renewable Energy team.
  • Liva Petersone becomes a Senior Underwriter in the Dublin office.
